Lake
San Antonio is known as one of the largest eagle winter
habitats in
Central California. Each year an Eagle Count is held in cooperation
with the U.S.
Fish and Wildlife Service. Over
60 eagles, both Golden and Bald, have been spotted around the Lake San Antonio
Area. With the lake conducive to fish and wildlife, San Antonio is the perfect
winter home.
Lake San Antonio's guided Eagle Watch Tours provide the opportunity
for visitors to observe eagles and other wildlife inhabiting the lake area.
Each tour starts with a 15-minute orientation prior to boarding the Eagle
One, a 56-foot tour boat for a 2 1/2 hour tour on the lake. Lake San Antonio Eagle
Watch Tours will take bird watchers out on the lake aboard Eagle One, a
56 foot tour boat purchased for the tours by the parks foundation of Monterey
County
This is another benefit to owners of Paso Robles real
estate.
